The Max RC Series are a range of solid fuel fired, water wall cum smoke tube boilers. They are three pass, radiation chamber cum shell type IBR steam boilers. It consists of an external furnace with a water wall. The various working pressure options suitable for the Max RC series are 10.54, 14.5, 17.5, 21 kg/cm² and above

The feeding system can be manual or automatic. For manual feeding systems, a capacity range of 2 TPH to 8 TPH is available. For automatic feeding systems, the capacity can range from 2TPH to 20 TPH. This series can be utilized for different types of fuels like coal, bagasse, wood, lignite, briquettes and more.

A thermal efficiency of 75 ± 2% can be obtained on NCV, which can be increased to 80 ± 2% on NCV with a heat recovery unit. An economiser or an air preheater can be added as a heat recovery unit to improve efficiency
